Our Introduction

GRAMIN SAMAJIK VIKAS SANSTHAN- is an All India nature organization working in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar , Madhya Pradesh , Jharkhand and Utrakhand, but mainly working in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The Gramin Samajik Vikas Sansthan (GSVS) is engaged in Social Welfare, Rural Development and Income generation activities since its existence in 2002.
GSVS also take care of Disabled persons. The area of operation of the organization is both rural and urban, but preference is given to those projects which are Rural development based. Our Organisation is working on Madhubani Painting on clothes, Potteries, Folders and other gift items in Bihar. GSVS has also done extensive awareness programme on YOGA also.
GSVS has complitted sucessfully a project on CHIKAN and ZARDOZI trade by giving training to poor women in Barabanki District of Uttar Pradesh, during 2004 to 2017. The area of operation of the GSVS is rural & urban both. During the last three years the Organisation has organized different programmes in some villages of District of Uttar Pradesh-Lucknow , Unnao , Kanpur , Kanpur Dehat , Barabanki , Bareilley , Gonda , Gorakhpur , Mainpuri , Raibarelly , Sultanpur , Hardoi , Varanasi , Noida , Faizabad , Basti , Sitapur.
And some district of Bihar like Patna,Madhubani, Darbhanga, Naubatpur, Arrah, Hazipur , Danapur, Muzaffarpur, Bettiah.
And some districts of Jharkhand like Ranchi , Jamshedpur , Hazaribagh , Rajauli , Simdega and.Ramgarh.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

• To promote or undertake activities to provide credit as an instrument of socio-economic change and development through the provision of a package of financial and social–development of women including organizing Welfare programme for handicapped person.
• To ensure that Chikan craftwomen get sufficient work at fair wages without exploitation by middleman , and to organise Chikan workers by developing their confidence , leadership potential and sense of security.
• Net work partner with fair trade social minded Organisations for marketing and to train members in purchase , production , management , and marketing.
• To ensure social benefits like educational and health facilities for members and their children.
• To create and undertake awareness generation and people participated programmes such as Environment Forest&climate , Aids Control , Health & Family Welfare , Panchayati Raj Programmes , Rural Development , Women and Child Development , Education , Consumer Protection , Drug addiction , Investors education protection and disability
• To organize Agricultural , Horticulure , Food Processing and Rural Development Programmes such as Water Supply Programmes , Sanitation Irrigation Construction of Public places in rural areas , Stabilization of Self Help Groups etc , including income generation and employment oriented programmes.
